2020 has brought with it a handful of new and odd norms. Take, for instance, cocktails with friends during virtual happy hours. As we continue to shelter at home in our L and O apartments in North Hollywood, our need to become more creative with our cocktails will grow. That is where this list of bars to order takeout drinks comes in.

Black Market Liquor Bar
Our first stop is on Ventura at Black Market Liquor Bar. It is worth noting that all the cocktails they offer to order come with chips. Why? We aren’t sure, but we also aren’t complaining. They have a total of eight cocktails to choose from. Our favorites are the Penicillin with scotch, honey, and ginger or the Old Cuban. For those of you who plan multiple virtual happy hours throughout the week, Black Market also has an extensive list of wines and spirits that you can order as well.
Boneyard Bistro
Also along Ventura is Boneyard Bistro in Sherman Oaks. Similarly, they are serving up some great wines and spirits. But we are here for the cocktails. What we love about their selection is that each drink comes in various sizes. If you wanted to get a medium-sized Cactus Cooler and a large Old Fashioned, go for it! Do know that all classic cocktails are available to go online but are only available with food orders. That said, get yourself one of their smoked chicken plates and sweet potato fries.

The Burbank Pub
Are you looking for a discount for your zoom happy hour drinks? The Burbank Pub is already an affordable bar, but these are tough times, which is why they are offering 20% off when you buy four of any cocktail. It gets better! They offer a gin and tonic set for $25!
The Front Yard
Speaking of buying in bulk, The Front Yard offers two different batch cocktails. There is the Strawberry Fields plus the Cucumber Press for $15 each for 12 oz. servings. If you can, save some room for wine. They are currently offering $25 on select bottles with any food order.
