Happy Hour in North Hollywood at Laurel Tavern
First up is a gastropub nearby called Laurel Tavern. Along with their iconic burgers, you can fill up on $3 fish tacos with a $5 beer. You can also grab yourself an $8 wine. Be sure to compliment that wine with their $8 charcuterie and cheese board. They also have $8 specialty cocktails. You cannot go wrong with their Old Fashioned. The happy hours here last Monday through Friday from 3 PM to 6 PM.
Mister O’s
Mister O’s is next with a gorgeous mid-century style feel to its decor. Their happy hour is Monday through Friday from 5:30 PM to 7 PM and has a great small bites menu. That includes $2 oysters on ice, $5 beef poutine, and an $8 burger. As far as drinks go, try out any glass of wine for $7. On Tuesday’s you can score a two-for-one cocktail deal and half-off bottles of wine on Wednesdays.
Happy Hour in North Hollywood at The Fox and Hounds
We also have a very popular British pub, The Fox and Hounds. Unlike most of the bars on this list, the Fox and Hounds has happy hour on weekends! They have a fantastic mac and cheese appetizer plus beer-battered mushrooms which are half off during happy hour. For drinks, they have 16 beers on tap which will go for $4.50. Those drafts include British staples like Guinness as well as more eclectic brews. For instance, they have Green Flash, Firestone, and Lagunitas. There is no parking or valet here so we suggest you take a Lyft or Uber.
The Federal NoHo
The Federal NoHo is next and one of the closest to your L+O luxury apartment home. Along with their happy hour every day from 3 PM to 6 PM, they offer Mac and Cheese Mondays where you can create your own mac and cheese dish. The same goes for their Grilled Cheese Tuesdays. Back to the happy hour. They offer $4 select beers, $3 well drinks, and $3 wines.
Happy Hour in North Hollywood at Mercado Taquería
Decompress with beer and tacos over at Mercado Taquería. They feature $4 Tecates and Modelos as well as $7 margaritas. Best of all, they have happy hours on the weekends from 4 PM to 6 PM as well as weekdays from 5 PM to 7 PM.
Tonga Hut
L.A.’s oldest tiki bar, Tonga Hut has a great happy hour too. From 4 PM to 8 PM, enjoy music from an eclectic jukebox with $3 well drinks, $2 PBR, $2 Miller Lites, $5 drafts, and $3 shot specials.
The Fat Dog NOHO
Last up on our list is a doggy-inspired eatery called the Fat Dog NOHO. Their small bites happy hour menu includes their beloved Swedish meatballs, a BBQ pork belly sandwich, plus potato skins with brie cheese. To compliment those small bites, you can order yourself a $3 to $5 beer on weekdays from 3 PM to 7 PM.
