There are a lot of things that make us smile here at L and O apartments. A California sunset, a successful workout in our state-of-the-art fitness center, and a well-deserved sweet treat. With National Donut Day right around the corner, June 5th, to be exact, we thought we’d help you out.
National Donut Day
Perfect Donuts
First on our list is a strip mall shop on Vineland called Perfect Donuts. Before discussing these perfect donuts near your L and O apartments in North Hollywood, you must know that they have delicious boba teas that will pair perfectly with the donut holes. While the donut holes are their best seller, our favorite pastry is the Fancy. It is a cinnamon roll, a bear claw, and a fritter with a chocolate cream cheese filling. It may not be a donut exactly, but it is a cousin to the donut.
Fōnuts
Thanks to Fonuts on Ventura, even vegetarians and those who are gluten intolerant can celebrate National Donut Day! Not only are Fonuts all-inclusive, but they also have some very creative flavors. Take, for instance, their blueberry Earl Grey and matcha donuts. Our favorite vegan donut is the lemon donut, and the churro donut takes the number one spot in their GF options.
K’s Donut Emporium
Our next donut shop has been around for a while and never disappoints. K’s Donut Emporium features Vietnamese iced coffee that will complement your donut beautifully. They also have a delightful glazed twist and a classic pink frosting with sprinkles donuts.
