Living in North Hollywood at L and O apartments for rent just got a whole lot more exciting because places are reopening! Over the past couple of months, we’ve seen many of our Los Angeles museums either reopen or announce their reopening. From the Getty to the Broad, here is a list of some of our favorite museums that you can start visiting.
LA is Reopening! Los Angeles Museums You Can Now Visit
The Broad
The Broad may sound familiar as it houses what may arguably be the best contemporary art collection in the world. On May 21st, it is going to reopen! Collections include works from Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein, Jeff Koon, and so many more. Admission is free, but timed tickets are required.
The Hammer Museum
There are a handful of free museums in Los Angeles. One of them is the Hammer Museum on Wilshire Blvd. We love the Hammer because the rotating exhibits often feature the works of local artists. While tickets are free, you still must make a reservation in advance.
The Petersen Automotive Museum
Car enthusiasts can finally reunite at the Petersen Automotive Museum! For those who have never been, the Petersen Automotive Museum gives you a glimpse into the rise of car culture in Southern California. Revered car collections live here. That includes famous Hollywood cars and vintage vehicles. Timed tickets are required.
The Getty Center
The Getty Center is a coastal mansion that once belonged to J. Paul Getty and is now a remarkable complex just a short drive away from your North Hollywood apartments for rent. On the outside are a handful of courtyards. The most notable being the Robert Irwin Central Garden. On the inside are famous art collections, including Van Gogh’s Irises. Admission is free, but timed reservations must be made in advance.
