Hiking trails in LA
Baldwin Hills Scenic Overlook
First, we have Culver City. If you are looking for a path that will make you sweat, Baldwin Hills is it. The view at the top is magnificent! You can see the Hollywood sign and the ocean from different vantage points.
Ballona Wetlands Trail
Also in Culver City is the Ballona Wetlands Trail. The difficulty level is easy. It is 1.5 miles long and is an excellent trail for a jog. The scenery is filled with flowers, and fans of the path go there for bird watching. In a nutshell, if you want to find peace during your hike, you’ll find it here.

Griffith Park Trails
We have to admit that our favorite trails are the ones with a view. The Griffith Park trails feature views that cannot be beaten. There is a handful of them, including the Bronson Canyon trail, the Griffith Observatory west trail loop, and Brush Canyon Trail. The longest of them all is the west trail loop. Our favorite would have to be Brush Canyon. It is two miles, very peaceful, and features our favorite view.
Topanga State Park
You can count on getting a great workout in at the Topanga State Park. The Los Liones trail goes all the way to the Parker Mesa Overlook and is about 7 miles round trip. The hike begins in the Pacific Palisades and ends at Los Liones Drive. The workout hits right away with steep hill climbs for the first two miles.
