If you are not yet aware, there are a number of reasons to live at L and O apartments in North Hollywood. One of them is that your boutique apartments in Los Angeles are located in the heart of the NoHo Arts District. Lucky for you, that is where all the hotspots are. That ranges from murals, theaters, and restaurants.
Exploring the NoHo Arts District: Have a coffee at an LA landmark
The ultimate tour of the Noho Arts District starts with a walking tour of the Lankershim Train Depot. It is located at Chandler and Lankershim, adjacent to the Metro Orange Line. This LA landmark happens to be one of the oldest starting in 1911. After undergoing revitalization, it was turned into Groundwork Coffee, one of our favorite coffee shops to visit around the corner from your L and O apartments.
Discover all the murals
The possibilities along Lankershim are endless! That includes all of the artwork. Starting with the Metro Red Line. The walls at the NoHo station includes a 4,000 square foot mural by Anne Marie Karlsen. It is a beautiful representation of the California dream. The NoHo Commons also includes a wonderful mural called Freedom Boulevard by French artist Thierry Noir.
Exploring the NoHo Arts District: Dine along Magnolia Blvd.
Similar to Lankershim, good times await along Magnolia Blvd. In particular tons of eateries. That includes Spumante, Rodini Park Greek Kitchen, and EAT Cafe.
Theater and Acting
There is no limit to the NoHo Arts District! That especially goes for all the theaters in the area. In fact, there is a total of 20 theaters including the El Portal and the Road Theatre. Most of these theaters provide weekly performances as well as acting classes.
Well, there you have it. Have fun exploring your beautiful city of North Hollywood!
